Gambeta was built out of a simple frustration: most private coaches teach the same generic drills. There's no plan, no progression, no feedback loop. Just an hour of cones and a Venmo request.

We do it differently. Every athlete gets an assessment, a position-specific plan, and quantifiable benchmarks — the way pro environments operate. We train year-round in NYC, indoors and on turf, in heat and snow.

We train at fields and turf facilities across NYC — based in Queens (65th Pl. & Shaler Ave, Ridgewood) with travel options to other boroughs and Westchester. Indoor in winter, outdoor when weather allows.

Youth players (U-10 through U-19), college-bound athletes, and adult recreational players who want to compete seriously. We turn down players who aren't ready to commit — it's not the right fit for casual training.

Most athletes feel a change in conditioning within 3–4 weeks, see measurable speed/agility gains in 6–8 weeks, and report visible game-day improvement in 12 weeks. We benchmark on day one and re-test on a schedule, so progress is documented — not vibes.

Yes, with a position-specific plan. Footwork, lateral acceleration, distribution under pressure, and aerobic conditioning calibrated to GK demands. Technical work covers handling, shot-stopping mechanics, and command of the box.
